NE6 Platform Verified Establishment Review Policy

New England Connect LLC refers to the Events and Establishments Social Directory website at https://newenglandconnect.com and its associated platforms, including the Support Knowledge Base at https://support.newenglandconnect.com and Multi-Vendor Marketplace at https://marketplace.newenglandconnect.com.

1. Definitions

  • Establishment: Any registered business operating within New England, USA, that provides products or services.
  • In Good Standing: Refers to establishments that have no outstanding owed funds, no active complaints, and a positive standing with the NE6 platform.
  • Authorized Reviewer: An individual approved by the NE6 Platform to conduct reviews of establishments.
  • Complimentary Service: A product or service provided by the establishment at no cost to the NE6 authorized reviewer for the purpose of obtaining an official review.
  • Verified Review: A comprehensive and structured review conducted by an authorized NE6 reviewer and published on the NE6 platform.
  • Review Request: A formal application submitted by an establishment seeking a verified review from the NE6 Platform, including submitting a support ticket and providing necessary details.
  • Support Ticket: A formal request submitted via the NE6 platform by any user seeking assistance or applying for a review.
  • Establishment Listing: The profile or entry of an establishment on the NE6 platform, detailing the services or products offered.

2. Introduction

Welcome to the NE6 Platform Verified Establishment Review Policy. This document outlines the terms and conditions for establishments seeking an official review from the NE6 Platform. By participating in this program, establishments agree to comply with the following guidelines.

3. Eligibility

To be eligible for the NE6 Platform Verified Establishment Review, establishments must:

  • Be a registered business operating within New England, USA.
  • Offer a product or service that can be reviewed by an NE6 authorized reviewer.
  • Have a registered account in good standing with an establishment listing on the NE6 platform (free or paid).
  • Submit a completed support ticket request via the NE6 platform.

4. Complimentary Service Requirement

Establishments are required to provide a complimentary product or service to the NE6 authorized reviewer. This could include, but is not limited to:

  • A free meal at a restaurant.
  • A complimentary spa service.
  • A free consultation.
  • A free tour of a tourist attraction.
  • A complimentary fitness class.
  • A free sample of a product, such as artisanal goods or crafts.
  • A complimentary hotel stay or B&B overnight.

The complimentary service must be provided at no cost to the reviewer and must be representative of the establishment’s usual offerings. The service must be complete and of the same quality that paying customers receive. Failure to provide the service as described may result in the denial of the review request.

5. Review Process

Once an establishment’s request has been approved, the review process will include:

  1. Authorized Reviewer Experience: An NE6 authorized reviewer will visit the establishment and partake in the complimentary service.
  2. Waiting Period: There may be a waiting period while we process the review request. Reviews are dependent on the availability of authorized reviewers.

  • Customer Service: Evaluation of the staff’s professionalism and friendliness.
  • Overall Experience: Summary of the visit, including highlights and any unique features.
  • Conclusion: Final thoughts and recommendations for potential customers.

6. Review Publication

  • The detailed review will be published on the NE6 platform.
  • Once a verified review has been submitted, processed, and listed on the NE6 platform, the review is non-removable.
  • If the establishment is not satisfied with the review, they are welcome to submit a new verified review request for a different product or service.
  • Generally, the NE6 Platform will not review the same product or service more than once. However, establishments with multiple products and/or services are welcome to submit as many verified review requests as desired. Each review request requires a no-cost complimentary product or service that has not already been reviewed by NE6.
  • All verified establishment reviews by NE6 are final regardless of satisfaction.

7. Rights and Responsibilities

  • Establishments:
    • Must ensure the reviewer receives the agreed-upon complimentary service without any charge or obligation.
    • May not influence or pressure the reviewer in any manner regarding the content of the review.
    • Agree to comply with all terms and conditions outlined in this policy.
  • The NE6 Platform:
    • Will conduct reviews in a fair, unbiased, and professional manner.
    • Reserves the right to refuse review requests at its discretion.
    • Is not liable for any costs or damages incurred by the establishment in relation to the review process.

8. Confidentiality and Data Protection

  • All information provided by establishments during the review request process will be handled in accordance with the NE6 Platform’s privacy policy.
  • Personal data of reviewers will be kept confidential and used solely for the purposes of the review.
  • Once a review is processed and listed on the NE6 platform, it is generally unalterable. However, establishments are welcome to submit another review request for a different product or service they offer.

9. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes arising from the review process should be directed to NE6 support via the support ticketing system.
  • The NE6 Platform will review and address disputes on a case-by-case basis, striving for a fair resolution for all parties involved.
  • Once a review is processed and listed on the NE6 platform, it is generally unalterable. However, the establishment is welcome to submit another review request for a different product or service they offer.

10. Amendments

  • The NE6 Platform reserves the right to amend this policy at any time.

Advertising Fees

Advertising Packages:

  • Various packages are available with different pricing based on the duration and placement of the ads.
  • Three ad versions: pay per click, pay per impression, or duration-based.

Custom Packages:

  • Custom packages can be arranged upon request.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation Policy:

  • Advertisers may cancel their ads at any time by contacting the support team or by deleting the advertisement from their ad dashboard.
  • Refunds are at the discretion of New England Connect LLC.
  • Ad campaigns are not refundable once the ad has been approved and has started, with a minimum of 24 hours’ cancellation notice.

Notice Required for Cancellation:

  • At least 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations.

Refund Conditions:

  • Refunds will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
  • An administrative fee of up to 3% may apply if a refund is requested more than 90 days after ad invoice payment.
  • Users are advised not to pay for ads more than 90 days in advance of the ad campaign start date.

Amendments to Advertising Orders

Modification of Ads:

  • Advertisers can request changes to their ads by contacting the support team or managing their ads directly in the Advertising Dashboard by selecting the title of the Ad.
  • Changes are subject to approval and may incur additional fees.

Fees or Conditions for Changes:

  • Any additional fees or conditions will be communicated at the time of the request.

Liabilities and Responsibilities

Business Liabilities:

  • New England Connect LLC and its directors, employees, or agents are not liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of the advertising services.
  • Liability is limited to the lesser of the amount paid by you in the six months prior to the cause of action or $1,000.00 USD.

Advertiser Responsibilities:

  • Advertisers agree to defend, indemnify, and hold New England Connect LLC harmless from any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand made by any third party due to or arising out of their ad content, use of services, breach of terms, or violation of rights.

Force Majeure:

  • No party shall be liable for failure or delay in fulfilling obligations due to events beyond their control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, government actions, strikes, pandemics, and other similar events.

Miscellaneous

Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

  • The terms and services are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Dispute resolution is outlined in our Terms and Conditions.
  • Any claims, legal proceedings, or litigation arising in connection with the IO (including these Terms) will be brought solely in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the parties consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

Assignment:

  • Neither Agency nor Advertiser may resell, assign, or transfer any of its rights or obligations hereunder without prior written approval.
  • All terms and conditions will be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties and their respective permitted transferees, successors, and assigns.
