New England Connect USA’s Multi-Vendor Marketplace Terms of Service Policy
Note: This policy accompanies New England Connect LLC’s Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, End User License Agreement, Returns and Refunds Policy, and other policies found in the “Policies” area.
Welcome to the collection of websites operated by New England Connect LLC, referred to collectively as “The NE6 Platform.” This includes:

- Marketplace: New England Connect Marketplace https://marketplace.newenglandconnect.com
- New England Connect LLC: Refers to the Events and Establishments Social Directory website at https://newenglandconnect.com and its associated platforms, including the Support Knowledge Base at https://support.newenglandconnect.com and Multi-Vendor Marketplace at https://marketplace.newenglandconnect.com.
Definitions
- Platform: Refers to the New England Connect USA Multi-Vendor Marketplace, accessible via newenglandconnect.com.
- Vendor/Seller: Any individual or entity that registers to sell products or services on the Platform.
- Buyer/User: Any individual or entity that registers to purchase products or services on the Platform.
- Social User: Any individual or entity that engages in social activities such as creating groups, posting comments, or interacting with other users on the Platform.
- Advertiser: Any individual or entity that places advertisements on the Platform.
- Product: Any item or service listed for sale on the Platform.
- Order: The transaction initiated by a Buyer to purchase a Product.
- Commission: The fee charged by New England Connect USA for facilitating sales on the Platform.
- Account: The registered profile of a Vendor, Buyer, Social User, or Advertiser on the Platform.
User Responsibilities
- Account Security: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information and passwords. They should promptly notify New England Connect USA of any unauthorized use of their account.
- Compliance with Laws: Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Platform.
- Accurate Information: Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration and when using the Platform.
Buyer Responsibilities
- Payment: Buyers must ensure timely payment for Products purchased on the Platform.
- Review and Feedback: Buyers are encouraged to leave honest reviews and feedback about their purchases.
- Communication: Buyers should communicate promptly with Vendors if they have any issues or questions about their orders.
Seller and Vendor Responsibilities
- Product Listings: Vendors must provide accurate and detailed descriptions of their products.
- Order Fulfillment: Vendors are responsible for processing and shipping orders in a timely manner.
- Customer Service: Vendors must handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Prohibited Products: Vendors must not list prohibited products such as weapons, adult material, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and nicotine products.
Advertiser Responsibilities
- Accurate Advertisements: Advertisers must ensure their ads are accurate and not misleading.
- Compliance: Advertisers must comply with all relevant advertising laws and regulations.
- Timely Payment: Advertisers must ensure timely payment for their advertisements.
Establishment and Event Lister Responsibilities
- Accurate Information: Listers must provide accurate details about their establishments and events.
- Updates: Listers should promptly update any changes to their listings.
Social User Responsibilities
- Respectful Engagement: Social Users must engage respectfully with other users on the Platform.
- Content: Social Users must not post inappropriate or offensive content.
- Privacy: Social Users must respect the privacy of other users.
Shipping Policies
- Seller Responsibility: Shipping costs and arrangements are the responsibility of the Seller.
- Timely Delivery: Sellers must ensure timely delivery of products.
- Buyer Communication: Buyers should communicate any shipping issues to the Seller promptly.
Returns and Refunds
- Return Period: Buyers have 14 calendar days from the date of purchase to request a return.
- Condition of Items: Returned items must be in their original condition and packaging.
- Digital Products: Refunds for digital products are at the discretion of New England Connect USA.
Taxes
- US Sales Tax: New England Connect LLC will collect and remit sales taxes to the government based on government guidelines for an online marketplace. Sellers are responsible for ensuring compliance with their state’s sales tax regulations. For additional information on sales tax responsibilities, please visit your state government’s website.
- Worldwide VAT: Sellers must comply with VAT regulations in the countries to which they ship. New England Connect LLC will handle the collection and remittance of VAT as required by the respective country’s laws. For more information on VAT responsibilities, please visit your country’s government website.
- 1099-K Form and Tax Compliance: Any user with $600 or more worth of sales in a calendar year is required to fill out a 1099-K form. This necessitates providing New England Connect LLC with their Employer ID or Social Security Number, as required by law for tax and reporting purposes. Any funds over $600 will not be paid out unless the 1099-K form is completed. For more information on this process, please visit the IRS website or consult your tax advisor.
On-Site Advertising
- Management: On-Site Advertising is managed by the Advertiser (i.e., the user purchasing and posting the advertising) and monitored by New England Connect USA. On-Site Advertising is created through the New England Connect USA Platform and includes:
- Establishment and Event Listing Advertising
- Featured Establishment and Event Listing Advertising
- Advertising created through our Ads Management Pages: Advertising Dashboard and My Account.
- Third-Party Advertising: All third-party advertising is managed by the respective third party. New England Connect has no control over this.
Prohibition of Scams
Policy:
New England Connect LLC strictly prohibits any form of scam, including but not limited to advertising, crypto, financial, identity, or other fraudulent scams. Any user found to be running a scam or part of a scam will be immediately terminated, blocked, and banned from the platform. All funds in both the user’s NE6 Wallets will be forfeited. The NE6 Wallets are divided into NE6 Directory Wallet for transactions on newenglandconnect.com and NE6 Vendor Marketplace Wallet for transactions on marketplace.newenglandconnect.com. New England Connect LLC reserves the right to charge the scammer for any incurred losses, including hardship. Any user found to be part of a scam will be responsible for all legal fees related to any legal action taken by New England Connect LLC or any users scammed by the scammer on our platform. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) Policy
Policy:
In accordance with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, users under the age of 13 need parental guidance to use the Services. Users aged 14-17 need guardian permission to use the Services. For more information, please refer to our “Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) Policy.”
Prohibited Items for Sale
Prohibited Items: The following items are prohibited for sale on the Platform:
- Links to external websites, unless otherwise approved
- Pirated product and/or material
- Copyrighted or trademark materials (media, images & texts)
- Inappropriate body parts and organs (PG-13 maximum please)
- Counterfeit Items (replicas or imitations of products and designer items)
- Fake or Altered Documents
- Illegal Goods and Services
- Personal Information about another individual
- Prescription drugs and products that require a prescription
- Food items that have been home-made or made in a kitchen that is unregulated.
- Supplements, drugs, and items that the FDA has issued a warning or recall (or) that do not meet minimum packaging label requirements by the USDA, FDA, and FTC
- Prostitution or Escorting
- Currency Exchanges or Crypto Currency
- Similar (or same) content several times in different categories and/or shops
- Miscategorization – all items must be listed in an appropriate category
- Meaningless title & description
- Shop test items
- Free items and items with misleading prices
- Items that are not for sale
- Pre-order items, unless pre-sale approval proof can be provided
- Illegal weapons, firearms & ammunition, stun guns, bb guns, pellet guns, blowguns, dart guns, illegal knives, and slingshots
- Toy weapons, fake or prop weapons, 3D printed weapons, design schematics to print or self-build weapons, and similar items representing weapons. This does not apply to certain items such as but not limited to kitchen knives, scissors, archery bow and arrows, etc.
- Bullets (of any kind), firearm parts, stun gun parts, bb gun parts, and pellet gun parts
- Tobacco, cigars, nicotine, e-cigarettes, cartridges for e-cigarettes, e-liquid, other smoking-cessation devices, vaporizers and diffusers used for any type of smoking or oral inhalation, any smoking device or smoking related item unless the item is a collectible item or approved (such as smoking pipes)
- No illegal animals, exotic insects/plants/feed, or live animals; certain live feed may be approved such as but not limited to crickets, worms, etc.
- Items made from wild or exotic animal skins (even if farm-raised) and taxidermy items of wild or exotic animals; including, but not limited to any animal endangered or threatened under the US Endangered Species Act or anywhere else illegal. This includes but is not limited to exotic/wild/endangered pets, bones, furs, skins, bone/fur/skin/carcass cleaning, etc.; taxidermy items listed must be legal in all world regions. Taxidermists are encouraged to use marketplace.newenglandconnect.com, however it remains the taxidermist’s responsibility to ensure you’re in compliance with all world law.
- Items from dropship service networks, unless verified by marketplace.newenglandconnect.com and approved with proof of dropship contract
- Mod chips, mod chips accessories or other devices designed to circumvent copyright protection
- Alcohol, Illegal drugs, controlled substances and related accessories. Certain accessories may be approved such as but not limited to smoking pipes (glass, stone, wood, etc.)
- Signal jammers or products that descramble cable and satellite signals
- Coupons and vouchers; unless it is a collectible item or otherwise approved
- Falsified orders to create or generate false feedback. All orders must be placed by an actual buyer only
- Setting minimum purchase requirements (for minimum quantity or amount) unless an auction, groupbuy, or rental listing
- Lottery tickets, fast-food game pieces, codes and coupons for sweepstakes, raffles, or drawings offering a chance to win something
- Resale of any tickets (event or otherwise) is prohibited.
